These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DartsPass app, website, and services. By using DartsPass, you agree to these Terms.

Section 02

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DartsPass, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian
  • You agree to comply with these Terms
  • You will use the platform responsibly and lawfully

Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use DartsPass.

Section 03

Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep your login details secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the platform.

Section 04

Fees & Payments

The only fee charged by DartsPass is a registration fee for use of the app. We do not charge any other fees, subscriptions, or ongoing charges for use of the platform.

  • The current registration fee is displayed at the point of registration
  • Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider, Stripe — we do not store your card details
  • Any fees charged by event organisers or venues (such as event entry fees) are set and collected by those organisers, not by DartsPass

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including any rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Section 05

Stripe Connect — Organisers & Venues

Organisers and venues may connect a Stripe account to DartsPass through Stripe Connect in order to collect payments for their own events.

If you connect a Stripe account, you agree that:

  • You must comply with Stripe's own terms, including the Stripe Services Agreement and the Stripe Connected Account Agreement
  • Payments collected through your connected account are between you and your participants — DartsPass is not a party to those transactions
  • You are solely responsible for the events you charge for, including refunds, cancellations, and any disputes with participants
  • You are responsible for meeting your own legal, tax, and accounting obligations in relation to payments you receive

We reserve the right to disconnect, suspend, or restrict any Stripe account connected to DartsPass through Stripe Connect if, in our reasonable opinion, the account holder is in breach of these Terms of Service or is using the platform in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to other users.

Where practical, we will notify you of a disconnection and the reason for it. Disconnection of a Stripe account does not affect any obligations you owe to your participants or to Stripe.

Section 06

No Prizes or Monetary Rewards

DartsPass does not offer, run, or administer any prizes, prize draws, giveaways, competitions with rewards, or monetary rewards of any kind.

  • No feature of the platform involves winning money, goods, or anything of monetary value from DartsPass
  • Nothing on the platform constitutes gambling, betting, wagering, or a lottery
  • Rankings, statistics, and leaderboards are provided for informational and competitive interest only and carry no reward of any kind

Any prizes, trophies, or rewards offered in connection with events listed on the platform are offered solely by the event organiser, venue, or a third party. They are the sole responsibility of that organiser or third party, and DartsPass has no involvement in, and accepts no liability for, their provision, value, or delivery.

Section 07

Use of the Platform

DartsPass is designed for players, organisers, venues, coaches, youth teams, and grassroots groups.

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Upload false, misleading, or harmful content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to disrupt or hack the platform
  • Use the platform to run or promote gambling, betting, or paid prize competitions

Section 08

Events, Competitions & Listings

DartsPass allows organisers and venues to create and promote events.

We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of event listings
  • Event cancellations or changes
  • Entry fees charged, or refunds owed, by organisers
  • Disputes between users and organisers
  • The quality or outcome of events

Users participate in events at their own risk.

Section 09

Scoring, Results & Data

DartsPass may provide scoring, tracking, and performance data.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of results or scoring data
  • Availability of data at all times
  • Error-free operation of these tools

These tools are provided for convenience and general use only.

Section 10

Youth Access & Grassroots Initiative

We offer free access to youth teams as part of our grassroots initiative. By using this access:

  • Teams must provide accurate information
  • Access is provided at our discretion
  • We may withdraw access if misused

Parental Responsibility: Parents, guardians, or coaches are responsible for supervising youth users where applicable.

Section 11

User Content

Users may upload or share content such as profiles, event details, and club information.

  • You retain ownership of your own content
  • You grant us a licence to use, display, and promote it within the platform

We reserve the right to remove content that:

  • Is inappropriate or offensive
  • Violates these Terms
  • Damages the platform or community

Section 12

Third-Party Services

DartsPass may integrate with or link to third-party services, including Stripe for payment processing.

We are not responsible for:

  • Third-party content or practices
  • External websites or their availability
  • Services outside our control

Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those parties' own terms.

Section 13

Availability of Service

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Continuous or uninterrupted availability
  • No downtime or technical interruptions
  • Error-free performance at all times

We may update, modify, or suspend the platform at any time.

Section 14

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DartsPass and Unity Darts Organisation LTD are not liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of income or business
  • Event-related issues or cancellations
  • Payments made to, or disputes with, event organisers
  • Disputes between users
  • Indirect or consequential losses of any kind

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.

Section 15

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access — including disconnecting any Stripe account connected through Stripe Connect — if:

  • You breach these Terms and Conditions
  • You misuse the platform or its features
  • We believe your activity is harmful to users or the business

You may stop using DartsPass at any time.

Section 16

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology related to DartsPass is owned by or licensed to Unity Darts Organisation LTD.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to replicate the platform

Section 17

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of DartsPass following any updates means you accept the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

Section 18

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from your use of DartsPass will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.
